Several Months After it Was Announced That GRAND CANYON UNIVERSITY Was Being Fined $37.7 Million dollars by the Federal Government For Allegations They Misled Students About the Full Costs of Some of Their Programs, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission is Now Suing GRAND CANYON UNIVERSITY for “Deceptive and Abusive Telemarketing Practices.”

Daniel Whyte III, President of Gospel Light Society International, says if these allegations are true, students who have lost money because of the lack of Integrity of Grand Canyon University need to file a class action lawsuit or an individual lawsuit to get their money back and keep their degrees. Whyte says further if these allegations are true regarding this Christian University–Grand Canyon University–this is a shame before God and shows the University is not concerned about the students but is more concerned about the money.

Months after it was announced that Grand Canyon University (GCU), the country’s largest Christian university, was being fined $37.7 million by the federal government for allegations that they misled students about the full costs of some of their programs, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has also announced they’re suing the 120,000-student school for “deception.”

According to a recent notice on their website, the FTC is suing GCU, Grand Canyon Education (GCE) and GCU president Brain Mueller for “deceiving prospective doctoral students about the cost and course requirements of its doctoral programs and about being a nonprofit” while also engaging in “deceptive and abusive telemarketing practices.”

For the former, the FTC says that some of GCU’s doctoral programs advertise one price to finish, when in reality, 98% of students require additional “continuation courses” to complete, adding thousands of dollars to the cost of their program. They also say that “the defendants also used abusive telemarketing calls to try to boost enrollment at GC” and that “GCE advertised on websites and social media urging prospective students to submit their contact information on digital forms. GCE telemarketers then used the information to illegally contact people who have specifically requested not to be called, as well as people on the National Do Not Call Registry. GCE has also made illegal calls to numbers it purchased from lead generators.

Responding to the varied allegations, GCU claims they are being “unjustly targetted” by the government and that this is much ado about nothing.

Daniel Whyte III, President of Gospel Light Society International, tells parents what he never thought he would have to tell parents, and that is, just as he has told parents to pull their children out of these hell-hole public schools, he now tells parents not to send their children to church by themselves and to pull their children and families out of these churches that refer to themselves as homosexual-affirming or churches that are wishy-washy and soft on the issue of the abomination of sodomy/homosexuality, for their children are in danger of being groomed, molested, and raped by people who have been infected with this demonic spirit of sodomy/homosexuality and the LGBTQQIPF2SSAA+ agenda. Whyte tells parents at the very least, in any church they go to, go “old-school church” and keep their children with them. Do not put them in the nursery. Do not put them in Sunday School or a small group for youth. Do not put them in AWANAS by themselves. Keep them with you in church.

Sad to say, in most churches, Sunday School or small groups for youth is an extension of the public school and not the other way around, so in many cases today, the church Sunday School or small group or youth group is a feeding ground for sodomy/homosexuality or the LGBTQQIPF2SSAA+ agenda. Whyte tells parents further there is nothing wrong with keeping their children at home and worshipping the Lord under the auspices and authority of a local Bible-believing, Bible-preaching, Bible-teaching, and BIBLE-LIVING church from home and, if he were you, he would raise his children in church but at home. He tells parents, contrary to what some will tell you, that is not “forsaking the assembling of yourselves together” because true born-again-saved Christians will assemble in church on a regular basis even if they assemble at home, which was the first church in the first place. By the way, if the pastor and the church are glad to receive your tithes and offerings from a distance, they ought to be glad to receive your attendance from a distance, and they ought to be willing to minister to you at a distance and consider you a church member with all its rights and privileges. And, of course, the pastor of the church can always visit you and minister to you at your house.

The nation’s largest Protestant denomination has settled a sexual abuse lawsuit against one of its prominent leaders who had been accused of allegedly molesting young men for decades.

Retired Texas Judge Paul Pressler, a Southern Baptist lay leader long considered a hero of the denomination by many, was one of the architects of the so-called conservative resurgence that took control of the Southern Baptist Convention in the 1980s and 1990s.

In 2017, Pressler’s former assistant, Gareld Duane Rollins Jr., sued the lay leader and conservative activist along with the Southern Baptist Convention and several of its entities, alleging that Pressler had begun abusing him while he was a teenager in a Bible study at a Houston church. The suit accused SBC leaders of knowing about Pressler’s alleged abuse and covering it up.

Pressler and SBC leaders have long denied any wrongdoing.

Earlier this year, former SBC leader Paige Patterson, a close ally of Pressler, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, which Patterson once led, also settled with Rollins. And last Friday, a special counsel to the SBC and its Nashville-based Executive Committee announced the Pressler suit had been settled.

“The Southern Baptist Convention and the SBC Executive Committee, Defendants in Rollins v Pressler, entered into a confidential settlement agreement with the Plaintiff. The Southern Baptist Convention and its Executive Committee were each fully prepared to proceed to trial,” the special counsel said in its statement.

The counsel continued: “However, several factors ultimately made settlement the more prudent choice. Chief among those factors was the horrendous nature of the abuse allegations, the likelihood that counsel for the SBC and Executive Committee would have to confront and cross-examine abuse survivors, the Executive Committee’s current financial condition, and the willingness of multiple insurance carriers to contribute to the terms of the settlement.”

No details of the settlement, which was first reported by the Texas Tribune, were made public.

The lawsuit against Pressler was initially dismissed due to the statute of limitations, but an appeals court allowed the suit to go forward after Rollins’ attorneys successfully argued that trauma from the alleged abuse had led to the delay in reporting the alleged abuse.

During the legal battle over the lawsuit, a number of men also went public with allegations that they, too, had been abused by Pressler. One of the allegations was made by a former member of a youth group at a church in Houston in the 1970s, where Pressler had been a youth pastor. Pressler lost that job after an incident involving a member of the youth group he led.

In 2004, leaders at Houston’s First Baptist Church in Houston learned of allegations against Pressler and sent him a letter warning him that getting naked with a young man was morally inappropriate and asked him to stop any further such behavior. That letter became public as part of the lawsuit.

Along with his religious activism, Pressler was an influential member of the religious right through his involvement with the Council for National Policy. In 2012, Pressler hosted a meeting of conservative Christian leaders at his ranch, aimed at finding an alternative candidate to Mitt Romney for president.

The lawsuit against Pressler inspired a major investigation into abuse in the SBC by the Houston Chronicle and San Antonio Express-News, according to the Texas Tribune. That “Abuse of Faith” report led the SBC to hold a litany of lament for abuse in 2019 and eventually to authorize a third-party investigation by Guidepost Solutions into how SBC leaders dealt with abuse.

Whyte also tells Prophet Larry Reid not to take one damn ounce of filthy lucre from T.D. Jakes and his PR team to help him be accepted by even the Judas Laodicean Evangelical-Charismatic Church, after this deep betrayal of God, Jesus Christ, the Church, his wife, his children, Prophet Manasseh Jordan, Bishop Bernard Jordan, and even yourself, Larry Reid, who has tried to help Jakes down through the years to come clean and tell the truth and stop being the greedy “TAKES FAMILY” (to use your words) instead of the humble Jakes family. Stop coddling Jakes, and condemn this damnable behavior from the pits of hell, and demand that he resign immediately.

Reid, you know this is not “throwing anybody away.” In fact Whyte says T.D. Jakes is still one of the most gifted preachers since Spurgeon. This is for the good and health of the universal Church, the local Church, his family, the Jordan family, and no doubt the hundreds of others who have been hurt by the “Takes family,” and it is for his own good. And as you know, Larry Reid, the whole Jakes family ought to resign, except for Serita Jakes, who, of course, does not have to resign from anything because she is just the pastor’s wife, but she is the most innocent out of the bunch. As you have reported repeatedly like a prophet: Cora Jakes has stolen a woman’s child; Sara Jakes is divorced and remarried and has recently attempted to take away the rights of the child’s father from her previous marriage; Come to find out recently, both sons are sodomite/homosexuals. Since T.D. Jakes was grooming another Bishop’s son for sodomite/homosexual sex and trying to steal the son’s affection from his father, somebody needs to investigate T.D. Jakes and his family to make sure he did not groom and molest those boys causing them to turn out to be sodomite/homosexuals — for from what we understand, these two boys are not his biological sons. Whatever the case here, obviously the T.D. Jakes family is not The Brady Bunch but The Addams Family, and according to the Holy Scripture, in addition to the other abominations, he ought to resign from the Church because his family is a disaster and does not line up with the Holy Bible that says:

I hope you all had a true Godly, Christ-honoring Christmas season and day as I did here. I am not going to say much today since Christmas has passed, and oh! what a wonderful time we had this year in the Lord as well. That is for those of us who truly are born-again-saved and know the Lord because as long as you are not sinning, you will always have joy, peace, and good cheer because you have the Lord and you are being obedient to the Lord. As you make your way to the early days of the New Year, I will leave you with this to contemplate, and that is, if you truly want to have a new year, you will have to SEPARATE from old, woke, evil family members, friends, church members, job mates, and schoolmates — anybody you know who is living an evil and sinful life contrary to God’s Word, and anybody who is trying to convince you to do the same and is trying to take you down with them. Here are two verses that I share with you to read and obey for your good:

2 Corinthians 6:17: “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.”

Ezra 6:21: “The sons of Israel who returned from exile and all those who had separated themselves from the impurity of the nations of the land to join them, to seek the Lord God of Israel, ate the Passover.”

Resolutions and Redemption

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” — Ephesians 2:8-9

It’s that time of year again! I’m talking about New Year’s resolutions, of course. It’s still December as I’m writing, but I guarantee that by the time you read this, I’ll already be asking myself what possessed me to come up with such grand, unattainable plans for the new year. (It seemed like a good idea at the time). Every year I tell myself it’ll finally be the year I keep all my resolutions. I mean, come on – how hard can it possibly be to finally set aside an hour for exercise each day, to stop consuming so much chocolate and coffee, and to never sleep for less than eight hours again?

Why are New Year’s resolutions so hard to keep? I don’t know, but it’s a lot like another area of life. Let me explain.

Before I became a Christian at the age of 17, I approached my life the same way I often approach New Year’s resolutions. I would try so hard to do the right things but I always ended up falling flat. I convinced myself that as long as I was the “good girl,” I’d be fine, so I tried really hard to live up to certain standards to please everyone, and hopefully God too. The problem, though, is that there’s nothing anyone can do in his or her own power to “earn” God’s favor.

As Ephesians 2:8 says, it’s by God’s grace that we are saved, not because of anything we could ever hope to attain or accomplish. God’s gift of His son Jesus Christ to save us from our sins through His death and resurrection is just that – a gift. Doing all the good, noble things in the world will never earn salvation, and like verse 9 says, nobody could ever think of boasting about such an undeserved gift.

Of course, the desire to do the right things is one result of making Jesus the Lord of your life, but we all continue to mess up because, after all, we are just sinners saved by grace. I still lose sight of it all sometimes and get caught up in the cycle of trying to “out-good” myself and others. This new year, however, in light of any New Year’s resolutions you may have made (or already broken), join me in remembering the assurance of one thing we never have to work to attain: God’s grace.

Intersecting Faith & Life: It’s hard to live up to New Year’s resolutions, but it’s impossible to earn God’s favor through good works or noble aspirations. This year, realize and thank God anew for the gift of His grace and salvation through Jesus.

Jakes’ son-in-law Toure Roberts, the husband of Sara Jakes to take that petrified look off his face that he has had since he has been in Dallas and “Go” Back “West,” Young Man; return to California and be your own man in God–unless you are into men Grooming Boys and the Abomination of Sodomy/Homosexuality. Now if it is all about the money and comfort for you, then stay. But if it is about the Lord, you need to leave and be your own man in God. Whyte says further he doubts if Sara Jakes wants to stay in this abominable mess, but if she does, and it is about the money and comfort for her, leave her behind because she is really not your wife anyway, and Go back West, young man; Go back West!

Daniel Whyte III also tells Larry Reid he should not have sat on these revelations as long as he did. He should have become a Prophet Nathan to T.D. Jakes and told him, “THOU ART THE MAN” as soon as he heard about it. In July, Harvard University introduced Claudine Gay as its 30th president, lauding her as the first Black person and only second woman ever to hold the position. Just six months and two days later, Gay resigned from the role amid a storm of scandal with a new superlative in hand: the shortest tenure of any president in Harvard’s history.

Her brief term is an anomaly at the nation’s oldest university, where presidencies often span upwards of a decade. The previous shortest tenure as Harvard president was Cornelius Conway Felton, who took office in 1860 and died of a heart condition in 1862. The longest tenure belongs to Charles William Eliot, who led the school from 1869 to 1909.

Harvard’s provost, Dr. Alan Garber, will serve as interim president.
