Sam Collier’s STORY CHURCH Issues Curious Statement About the Accusations Made Against the Pastor and Accusations Made Against the Wife Then Strangely Deletes It. Daniel Whyte III, President of Gospel Light Society International, tells Sam Collier and Toni Collier 4 Things:
- Kill the “APOSTLE” bit. Whyte says Sam Collier knows he is not an apostle, and he knew that was wrong from the get-go. That is nothing but a pride thing.
- Understand, the devil has laid siege to your life and ministry, and he is seeking to destroy you and your ministry right now through your marriage falling apart. This is not a flesh-and-blood situation. The Bible says in Ephesians 6:24: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” You lose your family — you lose your AUTHORITY that you are trying to gain by using the title “APOSTLE.”
- MAN UP! Humble yourself and write your wife, Toni, a letter. In that letter, if you indeed committed adultery and had sex with other women, ADMIT IT, TELL HER THE TRUTH, STOP LYING, BE HONEST ABOUT THE DETAILS, AND IF YOU ENJOYED IT BUT REGRET IT, SAY SO. IF YOU DON’T REALLY REGRET IT, SAY SO. If you honestly suspect her committing adultery, boldly bring that out as well. You will never have a chance at keeping your family together if you lie to your wife and you allow her to lie to you.
- Now, quite frankly, regarding your accusations of your wife going upside your head and whipping your behind, son, you are on your own. Whyte says if that is truly the case, you need to make her understand in the letter that if you do get back together, you will be the authority figure over her in the marriage, and she will have to submit to you and not you submit to her. If she is truly a violent woman, you let her know as a man that if she comes at you next time, you are going to win that battle. Going forward, make it very clear to her that you will be the man in charge of the marriage, and if she cannot deal with that, she can leave. Let her know that if you get back together, she needs to calm down, deal with, and obey the verses below. If she cannot agree with that, then you don’t need to get back with her.
Ephesians 5:22-24:
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
Whyte says Sam Collier and Toni Collier need to know a bad marriage is worth saving for 4 reasons: (1.) For the honor of God; (2.) For obedience to God; (3.) For the sake of the ministry; (4.) For the sake of the children. Whyte says further, frankly my dear ones, he could care less whether or not you are happy because he knows if you have Christ, you can be as happy as you want to be.
