Hear this word, ye kine of Bashan, that are in the mountain of Samaria, which oppress the poor, which crush the needy, which say to their masters, Bring, and let us drink.

Here is What Daniel Whyte III Told the Pastor Months Ago in the Heat of This Church Mess:

WATCH: THE DEVIL IS BUSY! Daniel Whyte III, President of Gospel Light Society International, tells Rev. Harvey Saunders of First Baptist Church of Hollins in Roanoke, Virginia, that this mess sounds like something else other than this woman not tithing and being removed from the membership rolls for some reason. Whyte tells Pastor Harvey Saunders to let the family bury their dead in the church’s graveyard with the quickness.

Whyte tells Pastor Saunders that from his years of pastoring, he knows that some of the older women in the church can get on the wrong side of the pastor for the most insignificant things. Whyte says he remembers an older educated woman who was a part of the public school system whom Whyte put over the Christian school at the church, was teaching the children to sing the song “Red, Yellow, Black, and White; They Are all Precious in God’s Sight” in a different way by adding the word “Brown” thus making it “Red, Yellow, Black, BROWN, and White.” She was teaching little children. So Whyte told her to just sing it the old-fashioned way and leave “BROWN” out, and make it simple for the children. Well, to make a long story short, she got angry and started trying to cause problems for Whyte over something close to nothing.

Whyte remembers another older woman in the church who was one of the church’s most faithful soul-winners. She got mad with Whyte because a distant half-brother who, according to her husband, they did not even know, suddenly died, and she got mad at Pastor Whyte because he did not rush over to her house and visit her for a half-brother who died whom she did not even know. She stayed mad at Whyte and tried to cause some problems for him and the church until she and her family left the church.

Whyte says to Rev. Saunders, if something like that happened between you and this deceased older woman in the church where she may have shown disrespect for you or led a rebellion against you, then you need to forgive her, overlook what happened, and let her family bury her in the church’s graveyard. At this point, it really does not matter how you feel about it or what you think about it. In this day and age, you can do something like this in a corner, but once it hits one newspaper, it will be picked up by many other publications, including this one, and it will spread around the world. For example, just this one publication reaches people in all the countries of the world. So if you do not want to look like a mean, petty pastor, let this family bury their mother in the graveyard with the rest of the family with the quickness, and kill the story because it is not hurting anybody but you. Once these stories go up online, in most cases, they stay up forever.

Alice “Sallie” Garrison was 82 when she died Aug. 30. She was a lifelong resident of Roanoke County, a 1959 graduate of George Washington Carver High, a single mom and a grandmother.

In her younger years, Garrison engaged in community activism on behalf of underprivileged youth and people who lacked indoor plumbing. According to her obituary, she raised foster children alongside three of her own.

During more recent years, the longtime Baptist experienced a number of health challenges. Garrison was a large woman, and she was in and out of the hospital and rehab. On occasions she ventured out, it was with the help of another person — and a wheelchair or a walker, said her daughter and co-caregiver, Kathy Garrison.

The late Alice “Sallie” Garrison, who died Aug. 30, with her grandson, Jalen Hunt, prior to church services at First Baptist Church of Hollins. Daughter Kathy Harrison said she believes this photo was shot in 2022.

Her funeral at Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home was Saturday afternoon. Here are some bits from the obituary:

LUKE 18:1

“And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.”

If You do Not Know Jesus Christ as Your Savior, Let me Show You How to Place Your Faith and Trust in Him For Salvation From Sin and Hell.

First, accept the fact that you are a sinner and that you have broken God’s law. The Bible says in Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

Second, accept the fact that there is a penalty for sin. The Bible states in Romans 6:23: “For the wages of sin is death…”

Third, accept the fact that you are on the road to hell. Jesus Christ said in Mark 9:43-48: “And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.” Also, the Bible states in Revelation 21:8: “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

Now that is bad news, but here’s the good news. Jesus Christ said in John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Just believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried, and rose from the dead by the power of God for you so that you can live eternally with Him. Pray and ask Him to come into your heart today, and He will.

Romans 10:9 & 13 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved… For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

If you believe that Jesus Christ died on the Cross for your sins, was buried, and rose from the dead, and you want to trust Him for your Salvation today, please pray with me this simple prayer: Holy Father God, I realize that I am a sinner and that I have done some bad things in my life. I am sorry for my sins, and today, please fill me with Your Holy and help me to repent of my sins. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please forgive me of my sins. I believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died for me, was buried, and rose again. I trust Jesus Christ as my Savior and choose to follow Him as Lord from this day forward. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life today. Amen.

I pray to God that each of you is doing well in Christ and that you are living a life obedient to Christ, for His glory, for as you all know, “One life to live; it will soon be past; only what’s done for Christ will last.” Don’t turn your back on Jesus because other people in the family, in the church, in the community, or jobmates are turning their back on Christ, for you will regret it throughout eternity. Make sure you pray and read the Bible each morning so that your days can go better. By the way, we have read the chronological Bible every day, plus your mother is reading the female verses I assigned to her over 35 years ago out loud in front of me each day. By the way, as I have said recently, if you know of people living in sin in the household or a secret house someplace else: fornication, adultery, divorce and re-married, abortion, child out of wedlock, homosexuality, lesbianism, or even incest, you need to move out immediately as bad things are going to continue to happen. One of the reasons for that is because each of you knows better because you were taught better from the Word of God by your Papa all of your life. When people are WOKE and brainwashed, they will do anything and will allow anything to happen to you because they want you to be defiled and destroyed just like them. By the way, if Danyelle, Daniqua or even Danyel Ezekiel would like to get out of there and come back here temporarily until they find their own place, they are welcome to do so. Danni, Danita, and Danae, as I have told you before, do not leave them there by themselves, and certainly do not leave them there with your friends by themselves. Bad things are happening in this WOKE world, and bad things will happen to you all if you do not take heed. I am praying for you to be “wise as serpents and harmless as doves” so that nothing bad will happen to you all as they are happening across the country. Be assured, I thank God for you, I love you very much, and I am praying for you every day all day.

THE CHRISTMAS STORY CONTINUES: Luke 2:36-40

Along with prayer and passing out Gospel tracts, the main thing we did to honor Jesus Christ for Christmas was read the Christmas story, preach the Gospel on Christmas Day, and have a good Christmas celebration meal but not as big as Thanksgiving. A VERY SIMPLE CHRISTMAS. I have precious memories. I hope you do too. Precious memories are one of the greatest benefits of living for the Lord. The Christmas story continues:

Luke 2:36-40:

36 And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity;

37 And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.

38 And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.

39 And when they had performed all things according to the law of the Lord, they returned into Galilee, to their own city Nazareth.

40 And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.

MY LOVING CHRISTMAS DEVOTIONAL “TEXT” IS James 5:16: “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

Christmas Proves Your Value

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Some people believe it’s insulting to say someone is spiritually “lost.” But it’s not. It’s actually a great compliment to be called spiritually lost.

There’s a difference between losing something and misplacing something. If you misplace something, it means it wasn’t important to you. But if you lose it, it’s valuable enough for you to try to find it. You misplace a bobby pin; you lose your glasses.

People are only lost because they’re worth finding. Think of it this way: The value of a masterpiece doesn’t go down when it’s lost; it goes up.

When you aren’t connected to God, you’re lost in many ways. You lose your direction, God’s protection, your potential, your happiness, and your future home in heaven—just to name a few. But there’s one thing you don’t lose: your value.

You’re so valuable that, on the very first Christmas, God paid the price of his Son to find you. The most famous verse in the Bible says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life”.

You matter so much to God that he underwent a rescue mission to find you. He came to Earth as a little baby so that one day he could die on a wooden cross for your sin.

The Christmas story reveals your value. God loved you enough that, when you were lost, God sent his very best— Jesus —to get you back.

Days after a collective of former staff, students and members of the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, Missouri, launched a petition suggesting that the national law firm Stinson LLP, hired to investigate abuse allegations against founder Mike Bickle, “may carry the appearance of vested interests or potential biases,” the ministry has announced Stinson’s replacement with a local firm.

“Third parties that claim to represent alleged victims have communicated a lack of trust in the national law firm IHOPKC engaged to lead the inquiry. After careful consideration, our leadership team has decided not to proceed with STINSON LLP and instead has retained a local KC law firm to conduct interviews with alleged victims,” IHOPKC said in a statement on Instagram.

“That local firm has already begun outreach to the few alleged victims whose identities are known, as well as the individuals claiming to represent anonymous Jane Does. IHOPKC is committed to investigating any allegations of abuse in our organization in a way that honors privacy, safety, and due process,” the ministry added. “It is our sincere desire to serve and assist every alleged victim in order to see truth and light come forth during this sensitive and challenging time.”

Bickle is being investigated for “serious allegations including sexual immorality” made against him by multiple women.

Just over a week ago, IHOPKC leaders said one decades-old claim against Bickle was found to have “some credibility” so far while other allegations brought by anonymous victims or third parties have been more difficult to ascertain.

As of Tuesday, it’s unclear which local law firm had replaced Stinson. IHOPKC did not immediately respond to calls for comment from The Christian Post.

Two Sundays ago, Stuart Greaves, executive director of IHOPKC, read a statement to congregants at Forerunner Church in Grandview, Missouri. He explained why Stinson LLP was initially hired “to conduct an impartial examination” of the allegations against Bickle “with the goal of assessing their merit and advising the ELT regarding appropriate steps to take.”

“Regarding the allegations so far, there has been one allegation from 26 years ago that has some credibility. There are other allegations that have been more difficult to ascertain due in part to the fact that they are either anonymous or represented by third parties,” Greaves said.

“Some of the alleged events predate the founding of IHOPKC. Additionally, some of the women that were named in the allegations have publicly refuted that they were ever victims of abuse, and even denounced the representatives of the alleged victim group for using their names without permission,” he added.

In a Change.org petition endorsed by more than 2,800 people, the collective of former IHOPKC staff, students and members suggested that Stinson be replaced with the Virginia-based GRACE (Godly Response to Abuse in the Christian Environment) organization.

South Carolina Senator Tim Scott announced he’s dropping out of the 2024 presidential primary race.

The 58-year-old statesman abruptly revealed during a Sunday evening interview that he is suspending his campaign for the White House – apparently without telling campaign staffers.

It comes just four days after he showed up to the third GOP primary debate with his girlfriend Mindy Noce, 47, ending months of speculation about his love life.

Scott posed for photos with the mother-of-three behind his debate lectern and briefly held her hand in a touching moment after a tense night in the GOP primary.

His departure leaves Vivek Ramaswamy, Nikki Haley, Ron DeSantis and Chris Christie to battle it out against the current frontrunner – former president Donald Trump.

‘I love America more today than I did on May 22,’ Scott said in an interview on Sunday Night in America with Trey Gowdy, referring to the start date of his campaign.

‘But when I go back to Iowa, it will not be as a presidential candidate. I am suspending my campaign. I think the voters who are the most remarkable people on the planet have been really clear that they’re telling me, ‘Not now, Tim’.’

‘And so I’m going to respect the voters, and I’m going to hold on and keep working really hard and look forward to another opportunity.’

Scott was in familiar company for his shock announcement considering Gowdy is a former U.S. congressman representing South Carolina’s fourth congressional district.

The news was so abrupt that a campaign staffer confirmed to DailyMail.com that they team found out Scott was dropping out by watching the show.

Additionally, a handful of his campaign aides confirmed to Fox News that they were not given a heads-up that they would soon be out of a job ahead of Scott’s live appearance Sunday night.

The South Carolina senator held an all-staff call following his interview.

Scott said after announcing suspension of his campaign that he wouldn’t be making an endorsement for any of his Republican rivals.

‘The voters are really smart,’ Scott said. The best way for me to be helpful is to not weigh-in on who they should endorse.’

He also indicated disinterest in a running mate slot as some speculate the rest of the GOP field is in a race for the vice presidency with Trump at the helm.

‘Being vice president has never been on my to-do list for this campaign, and it’s certainly not there now,’ Scott said.
